This museum has only one hall devoted to paleontology, archaeology and the history of Carcarañá. Exhibits include tertiary and quaternary fossils, a large collection of weapons and utensils made of stone, and material evidence and documents concerning the origin of Carcarañá and the presence of Swiss immigration. There are also some pre-Columbian pieces and remains of the Jesuitical reductions. The museum occupies an old house dating from 1895.

Carcarañá
Carcarañá lies 200km away from the city of Santa Fe. In order to get there from the provincial capital one must travel down the expressway to Rosario up to San Lorenzo, then switch to route A012 up to national route No.9.
