This
Museum was founded in 1978 and occupies the centenary building of
the old rural School that was founded in 1873 during the presidency
of Sarmiento. It comprises six halls and a large gallery where exhibits
include photographs, tools, weapons, objects of religious art, period
domestic utensils and 19th and 20th century coins and documents.
Also on display are several items that belonged to Carlos Beck Bernard,
the Swiss who founded San Carlos colony in 1858.

Centro San Carlos is located 40km. away from the city of Santa Fe
from which one must take national route No.19 and then travel 12km.
