This museum occupies the building that formerly belonged to the old Swiss International Shooting Range, the.first organized institution in the colony, which was founded in 1872, only three years after the layout of the urban plant. It comprises five exhibition halls containing documents from the period in which the town was founded, photographs, the flag presented as a gift from Switzerland when the Shooting Range was inaugurated, tools, weapons, kitchen utensils, musical instruments and a large courtyard transformed into a garden where old-fashioned farm machinery is exhibited.
